Too many stars crashing my computer?

Never mind, a more thorough search gave me the answer..

Making a long awaited trip to sag a, and I am about 10k ly away. However it has become harder and harder to map the route. Now pulling up the Galaxy map slows frame rates to a crawl, and I can't actually map anything anymore. Processor is a year old Intel i5, is that not fast enough?

hate to give up on the trip so close.

Looking at the specs, my system seems overall above minimum spec. Gameplay itself is fine, just not the Galaxy map.

this has been a problem for a lot of people even with high performance pcs. Better to just use an external route planner.

turn modt types off so you only see the less common ones - try filtering only for only OB and A. And Neutron stars
