I went to go see Guardians of the Galaxy in IMax tonight. Good movie. Problem was I kept seeing ED references in the whole thing. The space scenes, I kept thinking, ED did it almost as good and that's saying a lot for a game. Inside the space ships I kept thinking, ED is kinda like that, that ship is about the size of a Cobra. One scene in particular reminded me of mini-guns so much I laughed out-loud.
Although I enjoyed the movie a LOT it made me want to get home and play ED. The Movie is good and the special effects are great but, I was smiling like a schoolboy thinking "ya but, I get to go home and play in a whole universe of awesome space adventures". To be honest ED has a totally different vibe, a certain "British" flavor I prefer over my own homelands take on movies. Still a great movie to get ya'll pumped for ED.
