Took my kicks, learned my lessons

Some might remember my post a few months back about the uninsured Python I lost. The whole experience certainly took the wind out of my sails and I couldn't get any enthusiasm to play for almost two months. But I did come back, and did whatever community goals I could as well as rares until I made it into a Type-7. Found a good trade route, and stuck to grinding that. Took quite a bit of time and energy, but it ultimately paid off:

And this time around, plenty of money to cover my insurance:

Still trying to decide where to go from here. Part of me wants to grind a bit more and get myself a Type-9, but I also feel like branching out into piracy.

It was a very costly lesson, but I've built myself back up and I know more going forward.

A lesson learned hard, is a lesson learned well! :)

Have fun in your new Python. It is a most wonderful little ship.

The hardest step for me was going from a fully-loaded Vulture into a Python...

"Argh! Why is this thing so drifty? Stop drifting past the mailslot!!"

Once I learned to fly it like a drift-racing car, it got a little easier. Just need to remember to engage that turn a little earlier than with a more nimble craft.
The Vulture is to the General Lee like the Python is to BJ and the Bear's big rig.

I would grind a bit more and A rate your Python then go and kick some whatever. I currently grinding in a T9 and it's dullsville. I felt the need to spend 50 million Cr on the 7 A thrusters just to make it flyable. I intend to grind enough in the T9 to buy a Python for far more entaining running about!

You'd think I would have learned my lesson about being careful with my Clipper.
But nooooo.... lol!

Currently parked up in the garage after it's 3rd station-related death.
(As I don't have enough to cover the insurance any more! Heh!)
