A5 shields for an Asp are over 5m cr. They are also totally worth it.
I know I shouldn't do it but I ended up in a nose punching contest with a Federal drop ship. He/she/it fired absolutely everything at me, my shields were lit up like Blackpool illuminations and yet he could not bring them down. Similar story with a Master Anaconda. After that I was clever enough to actually get from in front of my targets. Very tough shields.
