We're preparing on our balcony to see some real space event today starting at 09.00h. Try to take some pictures and post them here for all your space travellers.

Windsaw, are you from Germany? Let's team up and join a Wing. I can hardly find any players to join a wing.

Good luck with the Eclipse in Germany. Unfortunately we've got cloud in my part of the UK, it should get quite dark though.

I've noticed in ED that the planets don't seem to caste shadows so eclipses don't function in the game :-(

Sadly down here in Cyprus it will be about 25% (which is its peak) at 11.58 local time. The one back in 1999 was much better visible down here at the time.

It has started here but I am not yet seeing the effect. Supposed to peak at 10:33am local time, so in about 50 minutes.

Take a piece of paper, make a small hole in it.
Hold it between the sun and another piece of paper, about a meter apart. You can see the sickle then. I do it right now.
