Sorry, another spam by me but I have a quick question for Warhammer fans - I have no experience/interest (as of yet) in this universe. I know ppl are crazy about it btw, I know about the figurines, games and huge fanbase but just never got in to it. Now, the game looks interesting, as a complete noob/ignorat in this universe will I like it or even be able to play it? I like strategy games just not sure if I will have fun not knowing almost anything about the universe.
Total War: WARHAMMER II question

That is hard to tell. I mean I kinda like the futuristic Warhammer and I like Total War, but I simply cannot see me playing a classic Warhammer Total War game. I kinda had my fill with elf treehuggers. They say the first iteration was kinda arcady and I saw some footage of battles that didn't convince me. Maybe watch some players doing battles might do for you?
Well, I watched few tutorial videos and even there with out knowing all those wierd creatures and spells I had no idea what is going on haha, and that was y main concerned. I`m familiar with TW game, played both Shoguns for hours tho.
I have TW:WH1, and IMHO that one was fine if you're into TW games. Wasnt my favourite of the series, but okay.
The basics don't change. You have the cannonfodder, spearmen, armoured guys, cavalry, archers etc. It's just a lot more colourful and the races have some special takes. Like dwarves are engineers and steampunky. Elves suck balls and eat tree roots. That kind of stuff. And there is magic spells. All my knowledge of Warhammer actually is from playing games, be it RTS ... - well it's really just RTS games when I think about it, lol.
And if I can figure it out...
