Total War:Warhammer

I see. I am very new to the TW Warhammer franchise. Just 40 hours in Wh2, and 140 in Wh3, picked it up last year when i saw: .
So i am very in to fighting Deamons and other pests.
Did they adressed some of that problems you had with Chaos in this article from few weeks ago:
or is it the Roleplay stuff they discuss there?
They try to make Chaos interestung. I just dont like to play as Chaos. I like playing against Chaos.

I dont know how long after release I got TW WH2 but it was quite a while. By then it had a diverse roster. WH is ideal for games like this. No writing required, you take what is lore and make it into the game.
I feel they made their masterpiece wirh WH2 - what else is there to do now that most if the lore factions have been already explored. Most characters been made playable?
You gotta redo old stuff, but that's a hard sell.
Grand campaign was always the best gamemode, imo. Mortal Empires. I can see it interesting for old players to play on the bigger map. Without the Chaos preferrably

Get ready:-

ARE THE REALM OF CHAOS OR EYE OF THE VORTEX MECHANICS ACTIVE IN THIS?

No; Immortal Empires does not feature the Realm of Chaos (WARHAMMER III) or Eye of the Vortex (WARHAMMER II) campaign mechanics. It is a sandbox experience first and foremost, though each race will still have their own unique victory conditions for the campaign.

Oh, good to know.

IE is really fun. Been playing it since yesterday. No bugs so far. Took a bit extra time to verifie files( it ran it few times for some reason).

The Map looks really pretty, specially Cathay region. Began the first play with my favorite Iron Dragon.
Most surprising was how well it ran on my PC, compared to how large the map became. Loading times are bit longer thou.

Also the new Interface for selecting races, little bit off puting. But the video in the middle is nice.

Hope you guys having a good time too. Any troubles?

P.S: My Caravn was delivering goods, and ended up joining a 3 way fight: Kislev and Empire vs Greenskin. Barely won. With out me they would have been lost:

We anticipate your progress reports.

Preview of End Game Scenarions in Immortal Empires:

I've yet to play the Carsteins. Isabella and Vlad sounds like a proper love story. So far I found Tomb Kings (High Queen Khalida), Vampire Coast (Zombie Pirates) and Skaven (Skrye, Ikit Claw) best. Clan Skrye is ridiculous but immense fun (Ratling Gun teams). Kill them with dakka before they get to you. You better do, but you have all the cheese at disposal. Tomb Kings and Vampire Coast is good RP. Empire factions, too - and you get lots of enemies with Empire. I can recommend Balthasar Gelt as Clan Skrye equivalent, it's the rocket artillery guy. When the friendly fire starts it's just right...

Tomb Kings is how you make undead interesting. in 40K it's the Necrons but the Tomb Kings are just better lore-wise. And they aren't cheap evil. No, the Beloved of Asaph is rather the opposite. You can feel how it's been good fun to make these characters and stories come alive.

Looks like people really liking the Beta, Steam review improving a lot. Went from 63% over all, to 82% approval in the last 30 days.

That 2.1 patch really messed up the game, but roll back option to 2.0 saved it for many players. Looks like a long road ahead of trials and errors patches.
