Totally intransparent

This game is a master in making it maximum intransparent to the player of where he is.

I'm trying to get my REPUTATION back @ Yembo for days now AND -

- I have no idea when I will reach the goal to switch from HOSTILE back (at least) to UNFRIENDLY

. I do missions for the faction
. I shoveled more than 300 tons of valuable metals to the station for the community goal

THE ONLY THING I SEE IS a little blue triangle showing UP for the last 10 hours.

VERY DEMOTIVATING! TOTALLY DEMOTIVATION HERE! SHHED

why is there not a more detailed info on what how when to achieve.... totally frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not only that you get no 0 NADA info about the general game mechanics, it's also totally intrasparancy in little things like reputation. WWWWWWWWWWWWWH

Once you lose rep, the best way to get it back is to spread around the boot licking. Working your rep up with one faction won't do it. If you ticked off the feds, for example, you should find a cluster of fed systems and run missions between them, taking care to only to work for the main fed faction in that system. Do charity work. Give food and weapons whenever possible. And do it in three or four systems. Once you become friendly with them, it will bubble up to the main Fed rep. It takes time but it can be done.

Brought myself up from a hostile alliance back up to neutral that way. On the bright side, I made a ton of money doing it!

Good luck!

Faction standing seems to be more or less dependent on the credit value for progress. My advice, find something that makes a decent profit and trade the ever living heck out of it. By the time you reach a mil profit I'm sure you'll be a lot less hostile with them :)

Reputation losses are still pretty harsh. I was allied with the feds, got caught with 4 tons of illegal mission goods and it knocked me down to friendly. It took me a few days (about 50 missions) to get back to allied.
