Touchy Cops

These cops that turn on you for every stray bullet are starting to annoy me.
I may just be getting old and having trouble remembering stuff but I'm sure Elite and Frontier used to give you a "Hey watch where you're shooting" or a "Not on a first date thanks" before they went fire ant on you.

The thing that annoys me about the cop's is the number of interdictions I get and the damage they cause to my ship that I have to pay for, when I am doing nothing wrong.

I feel your pain. I am *still* unfriendly with the Federation, despite my best efforts and being a part of their frickin' Navy which means I get interdicted with regularity. I have taken to just submitting to interdiction and blowing up anyone that isn't a Fed.

Unless you have a bounty cops should not be pulling you out of super cruise, could be a bug. You might want to report it.

Working as intended, I think. It's one of those "pulled over because we don't like the look of you" things.

Tell me about it I am a Warrant Officer in the Federation, but for some reason they deem me as unfriendly. It sucks. The reason I got the unfriendly status was that I was hunting pirates for the federation, first signal source I came across was a ship changing my mission to kill patrol ships, so I blew the guy from the purple faction out of the blackness of space.

I read something a while back from M. Brookes, I think saying that you had to have a bounty. Not sure about Faction relations though. I do know that with no bounty only unfriendly npc's pull me out, with a bounty I get cops doing it also. Can't saying anything about factions as I do not have a bad rating with anyone, yet.

I certainly don't have a bounty, I'm a good little explorer, me. It's just the Feds, in Federation space that pull me over and kick the tyres, so I presumed it was due my unfriendliness. Perhaps I'm nor being paranoid enough and it's bugged.

I lost rep in the great "Server Clusterfunk of 2015" and can't get it back, it seems. Now that is bugged, for sure.

Getting up to speed was not my intention. Venting was. If the Mrs was in the room, I would have turned to her and said "Bl#$&y cops give me the pips" and then carried on shooting pirates without another word but she wasn't so hit post. Whether or not anyone else had said anything about it before me was irrelevant.
