Touchy Subject

So I understand that the following subject may be taboo for for a lot of commanders, however it's one of the most fascinating subjects to me. The subject being UA bombings. Now I myself am no where capable of being able to try something like this be it that I am so ED inexperienced, but Id love to see some roleplay that incorporates them. Like I think it would be awesome to see like a player made video that follows an extremist/terror group that carries out a successful ua bombing. Does anyone else think that would be cool. Is there any thing like this out there on youtube. what are your thoughts.

PS: If I have posted in the wrong place or used the wrong prefix I apologize ahead of time.

I like the idea as long as the story and target are meaningful. Of course, I don't condone terrorism but there are often some dramatic reasons that people carry out such attacks which might be worth exploring for some creative person out there willing to take the risks. Maybe it's done to reduce the capabilities of a faction that is secretly helping the Thargoids. I don't know if there's anything out there already, but it could make for a dramatic video (or series).

Part of the problem is, UA-bombing doesn't make sense in the lore. Sure you "ought to" be able to UA-bomb one station, once. But not twice. Seriously, what black market dealer doesn't watch Galnet? Who is going to touch the stuff once it becomes known, and especially if he/she knows from personal experience, that keeping it in their locker will eventually make the space station you live on shut down and/or explode? Either the dealers would refuse to handle it (and so UAs would be off the market) or, after delivering meta-alloys to the station, the black market dealer makes himself a nice MA-lined storage locker to keep their alien goop in, so selling UAs no longer has any adverse effects on the station.

Apologies for injecting RL into the thread, but we as a species are happy to ignore scientific evidence that we're slowly rendering Earth uninhabitable if it means a better quarterly report or short-term expedience.

Unscrupulous black market dealers making a buck (credit?) from being a party to a UA bomb is only too realistic, I fear.

Also, other than Anarchy controlling factions, it's worth remembering that the black market is definitely not on the same side as the station controller - any delivery to a black market reduces the controlling faction's influence and increases the chance of a Bust state. The ability to take on board items which shut down station facilities (like, say, the bounty contact...) and cause the controlling faction to have to spend hundreds of millions buying meta-alloys to fix it all? Absolutely the sort of mess that gives more opportunities for the criminal side of the system.
