Tourist Guide To The Bubble

Having spent my many years in Elite Dangerous pioneering as a True Explorer, I'm now in the mood to settle down and take a more relaxed approach to space travel. I'm ready to become a Space Tourist. In that vein, I think it would be cool if the Codex offered a "tourist guide" for players who want to see all the amazing sites that are available in our back yard.

I sometimes run passenger missions with this in mind, but more often than not their destinations are kinda boring, and the more interesting things (to me) aren't represented - things like the low-earth orbital in the Azeban system or even Hoopdedoo's Lighthouse (the Bubble's neutron star), which I only learned about as part of the Enigma Expedition. And then there are generation ships and other things, so it would be nice if such a tourist guide was divided into categories.

I'm guessing there is some thread on the forum somewhere, or perhaps an actual website that is written like a proper tourist guide, and I'd appreciate a link to that, but it would also be nice to have an in-game feature of some sort. Perhaps the ability to run passenger missions where I the pilot pick the destination, and whoever (NPCs) want to go there will board my ship for the ride. Then I could offer my very own "Duck Boat Tours"!

Thoughts?

I have entertained the idea of using the "visited / not visited" filter on the galaxy map to slowly visit ALL the inhabited systems in the Bubble, using bookmarks as my own "tourist guide". I have a feeling this would take a very long time and might get boring quick, but maybe not!

Thing is, a lot of tourist beacons are either boring or broken (marking things that no longer exist). Whereas cool things like Azeban Orbital do not* have tourist beacons.

There's also the RNG factor, as IIRC Mitterland Hollow has a tourist beacon, yet I've never actually been sent there by a passenger. But to your point, if we did have a list of the GOOD tourist beacons, that would be helpful.
