Tourist missions: Was gonna say great job but...

Alternatively, you could drop out at the local Nav beacon and scan it by keeping it targeted. This will reveal the complete system to you. Of course, you still need to get <1000ls to the tourist beacon to find it.

No, scanning the nav beacon does not get it to show.
Apparently only flying close to it does - and this means flying to the logical, pretty, sightseeing spots as mentioned above.

I've been doing passenger missions for the last couple days - .. I don't think this is a bug but done intentional to get folks to fly around a bit - not to hand the info directly on a platter but to make one work a bit. Good luck in finding your locations :)

Well I am a ED fan and I hope it's a bug. Plus a ridiculous concept in that a passenger is not going to say where he wants to go? He just goes mute during his trip?
We don't need any more gamey grindiness...

They act like other uss like CZs are doing as far as I can tell, if you are more then 1000ls away they won't show up in the Navpanel. Can be a bit of a pain, I had a few of those but was lucky, I always picked the first point in the system thats more then 1000ls away and found the tourist beacon that way pretty quick.

But if there is something more then 1000ls in one direction and something more then 1000ls in the other and you pick the wrong one then it sure will be annoying.
