TrackIR Stopped working in EDO, works fine in EDH

Anyone have ideas how I can fix this problem? TrackIR works great in EDH. But for some reason in EDO, it is not being seen.

It worked at one point. I'll have to remember to check and find my remote battery that I use with the headset emitter to check for you.

Working here (Odyssey), Track IR 5.4 with the track clip pro. On foot there's an issue with the alignment of the HUD/crosshair, but at least for me that always happened, I just suspend the TrackIR while on foot.

It depends what you mean by 'working' and where specifically it isn't 'working'. As it stands now, headtracking and eyetracking is not working correctly when on-foot in Odyssey. In order to aim correctly when on-foot, I currently disable headtracking when on-foot. See links below for more information.

5.4 working for me. I do suspend in FPS mode because the HUD and the aim point and the view move independently which makes it difficult. You can set a hot key in the Track IR software to pause. Once you have that, you can hit the hotkey or issue a VoiceAttack command to hit the hotkey when you get out of ship/srv, and then again when you get back into a vehicle. It would be better to just have the game igore head tracking while on foot, but until then, this works.

Please describe not working. Not tracking at all, not tracking just one axis, software not launching, track ir not detected, sensitivity changed?

I know that I was playing at time of day when I usually don't and all of a sudden the view was flipping to the extreme right and left over and over. It turns out that the sun was catching the metal edge of my basement window well, through the pulled back curtains, of a window behind me. Hasn't happened in years of my office being in this room, but there you have it. It also happened to be in the middle of an inderdiction and it cost me the first rebuy I've paid in a while..... Not ED, or TrackIR's fault. It just happens.

I diagnosed this by looking in the track ir software and noticing that when it glitches it was picking up a reflection point in the same spot that was nowhere near the 3 reflector points. This throws it way off, because it counts that new point as one of the 3 it uses for positioning. I just firgured out what the sensor was picking up, and problems solved!

I'll agree that on foot head tracking is libel to make you sick. Your head and hud move in different directions. More like you are walking around drunk all the time.
