I had to click up to 10 times on most items in the trade center before the click got registered and there are several bug reports about this.
The issue became nearly non-existant for me after changing the Polling Rate of my mouse( in Razer Synapse) from 125 to 500 so I hope this will help others as well.
I also lowered the mouse sensitivity slightly at the same time but doubt that had any influence on curing the problem.
