...I just found a very good beryllium supply station (over 150000 units) and another that has huge demand for it (over 300000 units), with income of 850 credits/t.

I am and always will be against throwing easy income at players. So, if you thing your current route is no longer profitable for you, than move that a** of yours and find better one.

Earlier, till last gamma 2.06 there were very good routes between two planets within one system - trading with indium and superconductors - profit per one unit (tonne) was 1100 Cr for indium and 1300 Cr for superconductors. I made on Lacon 6 (112 tonnes cargo) 500000 Cr for half hour.

Last 3-4 nights I was bored looking for good profitable routes, didn`t trading at all, didn`t have any fun, just jumping between systems and stations, taking screenshots of commodities markets...
