Trade Data Broken?

So more than a few times I bought some trade data (100cr from the map) went into the system view to see if they exported some combat stabilizers for a mission. Sure enough it's on the export list so I fly out there to find it isn't offered. Infact most of what it says is being 'exported' from the station from the trade menu is not available to buy. It seemed like there was almost no relation between the trade data and the actual commodities store.

What's going on here? am I not using the trade data properly? is it not implemented properly yet?

I usually don't trade, I just pew pew stuff so I'm unsure if I'm just using the tools wrong.

Thoughts?

it not broken in that sence if there more station check those or use the filter for the differnet products and you see wats imported or sold
some times you can trade iitems in the same system.

It has never really worked . . . no point looking at it as far as I can see.

Try an online tool or just go by economy types in system view and hope that the station is well stocked . ..

In the past, trade data was often wrong due to crazy NPC trading (all data in the system is derived from NPC trades). Supposedly, the NPC trading was fixed in the last days. According to the devs, the trade data need some additional days to update itself. Hence, it should become more reliable in the future.
