Newcomer / Intro Trade Mentor not working?

just finished 1st mission...and told to go to Cleve Hub in Eravate where a 'Trade Mentor' would help with trade missions..No game message on arrival at Cleve Hub?? This was one of 4 mentors listed in message after completing that first mission bringing Data for 10,000CR.. Hard for me just starting out what missions would be best for a noob in a Sidewinder..I go the range and cargo size down, but in the dark here since program 'mentor' is broken... Any pointers on how to tell what mission to take?

Any links or advice on starting off making cash in a Sidewinder would be appreciated....

When I went looking for those "mentors" I couldn't find them, either. I think it's a mechanic that was removed but they never updated the text message you get....

First thing I did was data delivery missions to Faraday Orbital out in GD 215. I don't know why they called it "Orbital" unless that was meant as a joke, cos it's 327,000 ls away from the entry point. Yeah, takes a little while to get there... but, you can fly around the systems nearby and pick up EVERY data mission to GD 215 and they're 100,000 Cr each! So, it takes 15 minutes or so to SuperCruise to the station. NBD because at that point the payoff is well worth it!

... because it is a Platform Outpost that orbits a body. (Outposts are Orbital Platforms as opposed to Orbital Stations or Surface Ports or Surface Setlements.)

I have never done a "Mentor Mission" but they should be listed at the top of the Mission Board list, here is a yootoob of someone doing one (you can see the mission listed at about one minute in):
