Trade Volatility - Dissapearing Trade Routes

Hey all.

Michael Brookes said that trade would be more volatile in 2.1.

"Finding trades will be harder, and routes won't last as long. If you are doing it by yourself maybe, but otherwise - no."

I was passed a trade by buddy, a few days back.
one way; 1.8kCr; one hop. Easy money. Hit it for a couple of days and it stayed solid.

At some point I remembered to use The Market Connector utility that updates the database that Thrudds and the other trade sites hook into.

Next day - the profit was gone.

Now it might have been that it was a "state dependent" demand / profit thing. The commodity was Adv Medicines so lockdown or Outbreak Maybe?
Sorry it was a boozy session and I didn't note states and pendings
Anyway when it dried up, I hit Thrudds to see what else was around.

But everything that looked like a juicy route was gone when I got to the station.
Even with the Data just 3 hours old.

So here's my questions for y'all:

Is Trade Volatility killing the third party trade sites?

Have you stopped updating the Market Connector and only tell your mates about juicy routes?

Is this the end of Thrudds and Co?

(or did I just have bad luck this once?)
and NO I don't go slaving.

I use Thrudds and Co extensively, but for finding where in the hood can I buy certain commodities. I wouldn't like to lose that.

Sure,
Even eddb.io has the "where" on the commodities.
What I am asking is -

1) How are folks finding a good trade route now?

2) Does posting Market Data to the database kill the viable routes?

I'm currently sitting in my usual route. It's unprofitable nearly 4 days out of the week, but you just have to keep checking. With a 320 ton (thanks, new NPC AI, lol) Anaconda, I'm making roughly 6-7 mio every hour. Way less than the 9+ I was used to, but still decent.
