If a trader wants to do as much damage as possible on one pass without getting into a mini dog fight before they high wake out, what basic non eng/ or PP weapon is best at this point for a Python? A basic lock- launch and CYA action
1) Prox mines?
2) Torpedoes?
3) Missiles?

I'd say mines ... a trading ship shouldn't really be fighting off pirates unless it is capable of doing so .. If you're flying a Space shed, it should be treated as one. Brave Sir Robin you way outtathere![]()
