Trader Elite for alts post Jan 2020 mining changes

Created this Cmdr a few days ago for CQC (yes I am aware you need 4 acc, this is my 4th, no I have not tried it yet). Im farming credits on my main (no reason) and thought I would join myself in a crew to get a fel million credits on the new alt acc, turns out I did better than anticipated. Profit is of course only 5% but you get the full benefit towards elite status (no doubt everyone but me knew this, not a problem). In a couple of days, without leaving the station, this alt has now got elite trader status and 50M cr - I find that concept rather fun, attached are a couple of screenshots to show the time taken playing a couple of hours per day (I did leave the system idle a couple of times to walk the dog/make food etc so its not all actual play, probably 75% is).

Screenshots didnt work, info was 4 days to elite, 19hrs gametime, trying to edit in images (they are too large it seems).

Yes multiboxing has some advantages and FDev is totally ok with it.

it’s great for PvP as well since you can have extra pips for your distributor for simply having your alt account in the ship with you.

im not talking about real sanctioned PvP between consenting parties (which I do not participate in or have interest in). I’m talking about the kind of PvP where you’re just flying along minding your own business and someone decides to make you part of their content and entertainment.

Yes. Then you die faster, because you should have 4 pips in sys anways, but your assailant can have 4 in wep and 3 in eng to overtake you and blow you apart. That extra pip is beyond ridiculous.

I agree with Turd Ferguson, the extra pips are nice but not a game changer, running with 2 alt acc means you can have max sys and eng, you can't go faster and you can't have more shields. It's not important as there is no reason to play in open, there never was and most people don't.

I recommend PvP players also multibox, it would significantly increase the number of non npc ships they come across :p

I also recommend PvP players don't overreact to multibox. What they do in a private group does not affect you, there is really no reason to be insulting or otherwise it throw toys out of prams.
