Trading Advice request - lakon 6

I've had some very successful trading at times in the lakon6 but the last few days things seem to have dried up. i've been all over Emperial space, right out to the edge of their space and back but there are so many tiny outposts with almost zero demand.

• Is there a pattern i am missing?
• Does size matter? (population)
• When you head to a new area how do you start to work out your trade routes?

I try to use the trade lane colour system but i think this is very misleading as these are well travelled trade lanes and therefore not very profitable in my experience.

If it helps, when you're looking at the commodities listing it will list all locations (that you have knowledge of) that goods are imported from or exported to. If you're having issues with low demand still, it may be that you're in a high player-traffic area and the stations are getting plenty of goods in.

I can't recall offhand which section of the bulletin it is, but it will tell you how many of what types of ships have visited recently.

Thanks, yeah i do use that and i think it has the same issue as the color lines as its representing the same thing. As for the traffic, the system I was last at had less than 15 ships and almost no demand for anything.

I'm trying to focus on high population systems and the supply / demand seems to be better.
