Trading made SEXY

I know it has been said before but after flying Lakon's T6, Asp & Type 7 since launch the Imperial Clipper makes trading fun and profitable. I got it on Friday night and have been flying it all weekend and it has been a true joy, hauls a good amount and fly's like a fighter.

Thanks to all those in other threads that have talked about this ship you where not wrong and I have no regrets in getting this craft. I plan on keeping it for a long time and getting A grade components for everything!

If you want more trading fun try and find someone else on the same trade route and friend them.

I did this and whenever we are on it's a race. We are usually so close that we bump each others ships into stations and back out. It is a LOT of fun racing with another :)

That I could see as the only way to make trading less of a chore. Being neck and neck all the way towards the station and seeing your friend get interdicted at the last second sounds like fun.

one question? what are the firing points of the hard points like? I had read that they were not in a good position and often "hidden" like the bottom hardpoints on a Cobra with respect to line of sight.

They are not good. Gimballed is only thing that works right now and even than it is annoying.

I have 2 gimballed in the medium slots (underneath) and two turrets in the large slots (on the wing / nacelles). Works very well as long as you have some spatial awareness and don't just roll like a drunken whale all the time. Although I wouldn't take into PvP against a Python ;)

You don't need baron for the clipper. I am not sure what rank it is exactly, but i have never been baron and i own one.

I wouldn't mind so much if there was an equally nice faction ship for the Federation and Alliance. I'm one rank away from the Dropship, but no way will I ever buy it… =)

Congrats for your ship.

Just the same feeling here except that I'm enjoying the Python instead. I love all about this ship and handles like a dream.

Anyway, I think the Clipper is, by far, the most beautiful ship in the game, and if it wasn't for the rank needed to buy it I'll probably be flying one myself.

I always look at them while they dock and undock.:)
