Trading Material

Shouldn't these two stars be trading material?

From what I've read, accretion discs and other interactions between stellar bodies has yet to be modeled. I hope that changes some day - it would add so much to the environment!

I agree with you 100%. It would make exploration so much more enjoyable.

Also, the orbital speed of these two stars seemed painfully slow. Shouldn't they be zipping around each other at a fantastic rate? Or is the fact that I am travelling at frame shift speeds (at a "stop" I am travelling 30k ls/s or something like that) altering the perceived sense of motion?

So let's see, HairballHacker has what look to be a pair of 8's, and thehairymob got him beat with what looks like a pair of 9's.

Well, I'll raise ya a pair of ten's...
