Trading system

Hey all, I'm new to the forums so I apologize if this question has already been answered:

Will there be a auction house style trading system where players can post items up for up to days at a time to be bought by other players, or will player to player trading be solely individual?

p.s. I just became a premium beta backer

I believe that players will be able sell goods between them (and even transfer of cr). But I have not heard of auctions. It is a good idea in all the cases. And welcome to the great family of the Elite

You mean an auction house, like in Diablo III or World of Warcraft?

I really hope Elite Dangerous does not go down that route.

Why ? You would not want to sell your old Cobra MK III of collection, to the highest bidder ?

I don't think you will see an auction house where you will be selling the drops you got from farming Cobra's somewhere. That sounds like a terrible idea. Using real money doubly so.

auction house is a terrible idea, it royally ruined Diablo 3.

Yes, it did. When I was playing it we said it was a bad idea from the start and sure enough it was.

DEVs nothing written about auction house style trading system.
In ED will be trade PvP. We have to be docked at the same station and We can trade.

Possible that in the future there will be other forms of trade.
