TRADING: the next little "error"? Cant sell my cargo

I just found tobacco on sale at a very low price and filled my cargo bay with it. Since then, no system I have visited is buying it! It doesn't even show in the Markets! And this is in systems shown as importing tobacco! I even went to systems showing as exporters, figuring it would at least be on the Market and I could get rid of it, nope....no sign. Now I am stuck with it with all my spare cash tied up in it. What to do?

tried black markets, in case it is illegal in the system.

I have noticed quite a few systems just don't buy things. Of course it could explain why it was so cheap,since nobody was buying in the local area

Tobacco is illegal in many systems, that's why it doesn't show up in the market for you. So be careful that you don't get scanned. I haven't done much trading with it, but it should be safe in most empire systems. If you can't figure out where to sell it just go back to where you bought it and sell it back to them. You'll make a slight loss but better than losing it all. Next time don't put all your money into cargo if you don't know for certain you will be able to move it.
