Trading with friends?

Hi just got a friend on board for this game & we are playing in private group mode, but was wondering if there is a way for us to trade with each other & other players ?

Yeah, one of you is dropping cargo (right ship panel), the other is "scooping" it. Thats the best you can do, for now.

Cool, that is kind of what I thought it would be for now until they add that functionality to the game but thanks for the info.

Make sure to hit the abandon option otherwise the other might be in for a rude greeting in the next station. It will be labeled as stolen if not.

Sorry do you mean abandon mission button? I know there is a jettison button on cargo location that is a drop down but missed it if there is a abandon button there. Thanks for any additional info.

You have 2 options when you jettison cargo.

Jettison
Jettison (Abandon)

If you use the first, you cargo gets marked as stolen when someone else picks it up (even your friend will see it as stolen), option 2 does not and anyone may claim it.
Also, do this over 10Km from any station or you get a fine for littering
