Just wondering- do the traffic figures in the news reports only relate to the mode you are in, or are they for open, group and solo traffic combined? And are local npc security ships included?

Its definitely a global figure, whether its only players or npc's too I would guess its only players.
I am sure someone else will know the right answer

The numbers are only Real players including your self and you will count twice+ if you switch ships in the station or comback numerius times to the same station. It doesn't matter whether you are in open or solo, it's the same number for every mode...
