Transfer cargo to new ship - how?

You have cargo in the hold of your current ship. You go to the shipyard and buy a new ship.
Is it possible to transfer the cargo from the old to the new ship? Cargo space permitting.
Can one do the same with a stored ship when one is at the station where that ship is stored?

Wing up with mate. Drop 20t at a time and let him hold it for you whilst change ships. When he has done a runner with your imperial slaves, I guess he is not your mate.

Dont forget not too near station or get fined.

It's shame really.
In the X3 series one could do this.
Not a serious issue but a matter of convenience.
