I was talking to a a member of our alliance about if you could transfer passanger missions from 1 ship to another bigger ship, and he didnt know, so for science I tried, well it dosnt work coming up with transaction denied due to having passangers in a cabin, the reason why I tried this was cause of the staion I was at, it dosnt have a large landing pad, only small and medium.
This is stupid to me and I have some ideas for fdev to look at, also have a idea for cargo transfering as well from 1 ship to another.
1. In the real world you transfer on planes or trains or coaches to reach your destination.
2. in the real world you can take of cargo from a lorry, plane, ship and then load onto another.
So here is my ideas.
passanger mission transfer.
You take the passanger missions say in a python, then goto the station, say where your conda is stored, tell your passengers you will be docked for 2 hours and they can get off and explore the station,
then you can change your ship to the bigger one, once you changed you can take off for that 2 hours, and it costs you some credits(will get to the credit idea as well after).
cargo transfer.
If you want to change cargo from 1 ships to another ship, you would have to pay some credits to the station in the system where you are, cause you will need a unloader to unload, and then a loader
to load onto the new ship, again this will cost some credits as the station is using there resources to help you out.
Ok here is the the benifit to these ideas, say if a guild or aliance owns that sytem and station, they get the credits, but the credit could only be used by the leader only to buy, ie: say extra
secrurity, this extra security would say make other aliances, guilds, influance in that system move rise abit slower, could also buy security that only gives the guild or aliance of that system
abit more increase of inflance when they hand stuff in at that system.
the potential for this idea is massive and could be great if inplemented into the game in the right way, also brings some realism to the game as well.
What does every one else think, be nice to hear from fdev about this as well.
