Well, i just found out about some of the collector models from the Transformers toyline and DAMN they are more advanced and good looking than the ones i drooled over as a kid in 1985. Took the plunge and got a group of knock-offs from china that are supposed to be close to the real deal. Megatron, Starscream and Soundwave.

Getting the "official" models runs at 100 USD+ each but these runs me about 200 in total.
And transforming them is a PITA apparently due to how well they have done it.
