Horizons Transition into normal flight on busy planets in Open

Didn't have any problems in the beta, but since 2.1 it seems I can't transition into normal flight over busy planets in Open. By busy I mean lots of other Commanders in the vicinity and this usually occurs over engineer bases as well as on barnacle planets. I just get stuck in the transition screen forever. Have to quit and switch to solo. Anyone else experiencing this?

The transitions are worse now, I didn't have any issues in 2.0, but now I just keep hanging in mid space until I get the instance assigned, kind of annoying.

yes it takes a minute or two to disengage into the engineer bases for me in open. I'm typing this while I wait. I think this one may go to 3 mins.

Same for me yesterday in a Private Group over a busy Engineer Base... it took app. 4 minutes to drop from SC to Glide. Some tinkering in instancing may be required...

I seem to remember this happening for a week or so after most, if not all, major updates so far. I had exactly the same as the OP and after 5 minutes the last time last night, I had to just kill the process. I'm hoping it'll sort itself out sooner rather than later, but I landed at Decait this morning and over 6,700 Cmdrs had passed through in the last 24 hours :D
