This happens to me all day long with everyone, in the middle of conversations, and when I login most of the time. It's been going on for a while so I thought I'd just sit it out, but it's absolutely bonkers!

PLEASE, FD, I really know you're working very hard, but this is a pretty big flaw. I also understand that many of the player-to-player aspects haven't been fleshed out yet, but it's just driving me nuts. Sorry for the whining.

happens to me all the time, i made a post about it in the support forum and they didn't bother to answer. It is the one issue that really annoys me, i can't talk to friends or anything, the worst part is Frontier are acting like this bug doesn't exist, i haven't seen them acknowledge it once, if they have then i apologise, but i haven't seen it.

Yerp, happens a lot to me as well, though random - at times works perfectly then all of a sudden it wont. "This" is something that needs addressing for players to actually communicate with each other I would think????

Got a friend who plays that this happens each and every time he plays.

I wish they would go with a dedicated chat server model. Maybe they have something up their sleeves for the Wings - I have to assume that some refinement to comms will be part of that package (it needs to be, really).
