So I pulled into LHS 1663 to pick up another round of meds for the Bast CG just about 15 min ago and decided to do a quick retrofit on my clipper to drop the guns so I can cover insurance. I went into outfitting and for some reason the moment the hardpoints deployed they also decided to open fire, while in the outfitting screen. I'm now wanted and the station is trying to kill me. Thankfully there are no turrets in my hanger. Here is the real kicker, I can't afford insurance on this clipper by about 500k...... Any suggestions?

Oh ... I forgot. Can you actually launch from the station? If so, just press the launch button and then instantly log out. (Yeah, I know there is no honor in "combat logging" ...). If you relog you should be at 10km from the station out if their gun range.

Could you maybe buy a cheap sidewinder and let yourself get blown up on take off?
Sell enough module so you can cover the insurance. Flying without is a mugs game, even flying with insurance x1 is risky.
Another method is buy a Sidy, strip it out and launch and die so clearing bounty (becomes a fine??).

Had this same bug last week. Exited. Reloaded. Wanted status gone. All normal.

I remember my first day on the internet. Sarcasm needs to be better crafted than that for proper effect and even then it's dicey.

So logging out even before undocking would be combat logging?
You were probably targeted on a ship outside the station. Depending on your turret mode they might have opened fire automatically or you might have pressed the fire trigger. Either way it's a bug to allow your ship to fire when inside the hanger. On the landing pad ok but not in the hanger.
As others have said there are work arounds. I think if you try to log while the station is firing at you then you will get the 15 sec danger warning and you'll be dead before it logs out. I might try 'proper' combat logging and be ready to pull the cable. I don't think it will fire at you until you clear the slot and someone scans you so you should be able to get away. You'll just have to live somewhere else until the bounty wears off.
