Its doable distance wise in any ship in the verse. However you won't be able to do it directly from any ship.
AG+01 1940 -> LTT 15068
I've heard of, and discovered while exploring, binary star systems. However these are two stars that share the same space and time in what I can only figure to be a tear in the fabric of space itself.
Once in either system, you can not warp directly to the other. (target obscured) LTT 15068 has orbital bodies and two stations. AG+01 1940 has only the lone star itself. While in the AG+01 1940 system I encountered a USS as well as a SSS. Dropping out of SC into these I was greeted by "lawless", "no faction" pilots. Lots of them. Who loved to fight. Popping several of them and getting ZERO, nadda, the big donut hole I decided to "waste" my ammo else were. Interesting bazarro system.
tl:dr found an interesting bug - dual nested systems.
