I have this notion for Player Beacons.
You know- expensive like a small ship. Deployed with some player entered text. Scan it and get the text yadda yadda,
But the mods just go "suggestion" off to the attic with you.
But one of the things Player beacons would facilitate is this type of treasure hunt across the galaxy.
