Tree scatter feeder killed my cubs

Bit of an extreme title but let me explain. I placed 2 of these feeders in my grizzly bear habitat, the adults had no problem with them it seems. I kept getting hunger complaints so I kept going back to refill; FINALLY I noticed they still had food at it was just the cubs who were starving. I ended up putting bamboo feeder in as well but not before the deaths started.

So if you have cubs, DO NOT solely rely on that feeder. I really wish there had been a warning for me.

I had notifications when a zookeeper couldn't reach a certain feeder, so it's a bit odd they don't have a notification system if an animal can't reach/use a feeder

Since zookeepers prioritize feeding enrichment, one would hope that the zookeepers are also aware that the cubs won't be able to use those feeders.
