could it be that you get too close to another pad and get a loitering warning, not a trespass warning?
Are you sure it is a trespass warning and not pad loitering warning? Trespass warning (you have some 30 secs to get out of the station or you'll get shot) should happen only if you enter the station without docking clearance or if you cancel your docking request while inside the station (not a good idea to do really). Pad loitering happens if you move too slowly over another pad and is not such a big deal as long as you move along towards your assigned pad.

Trespass is for loitering in the port so you are blocking it to others or hovering over another pad. It can confuse you when the Pad Hologram keeps going out. Hope it gets corrected but think its for animation and to get us to m manoeuvre about with patience and so fly better.

No, I clearly get a trespass warning when I pass the the entrance to the station. Then I have to cancel/request spam docking clearance over and over until it works out, usually a minute later. Last time it was not even removed even though I was well clear of the station when the timer expired.
This game is really bugged :-(
that means you are going too slow through the entrance tunnel, speed up and it wont happen.
Even if the timer is still valid (e.g. usually I pass at 8min or so remaining)?
But should'nt I get a loitering warning instead? (sometimes I see those when I have to wait for another ship to pass)
But yes, with the type 6 I'll go slow, because it is constructed with Pinto technology, and, in contrast to other ships, blows up when you scratch something.
I fly a type 6 with shields, I slip through the slot with others ships in the way all the time going about 100, sometimes when an NPC menace irritates me, I push them through the slot too. You can get through the slot doing 65 easy, practice lining up, once lined up, 65 through the slot will let you not get a trespass fine. And unless there is a type 9 coming through at the same time, you can pass any other ship in the slot at the same time.

I don't think that the game is really bugged. I think that we don't know all the rules.

It's not the game I'm afraid. Here's how to dock step by step.
1. Drop out of Super Cruise.
2. Throttle up/boost to full speed
3. Open Contacts menu, select station, request docking (you have 10 minutes to dock)
4. Deploy landing gear and turn on landing lights
5. Reduce speed as you approach the entrance
6. Find your pad, use the blue dot on the radar if needed, reduce speed as you approach pad, until hovering in the center
7. Gently down thrust until the magnetic field grabs you
Get into a routine, do it the same every time, build muscle memory until it's just an automatic process. Use the tutorials to practice without any risk.
