Trespass zones and Apex shuttles

Maybe this is old info for many commanders, but I found this interesting and somewhat funny.

I noticed that there's a penal colony on Mitterand Hollow, but when I tried to go there, I got several trespass warnings and then system security just destroyed my ship. So I took my Sidewinder, equipped it with an SRV bay, and went there again, driving the SRV as close as possible without being detected, and then walked the rest of the way on foot (a couple of screenshots below). While the place went on full alert, they would nevertheless not attack me while on foot (I suppose FDev never implemented this).

When I went back to my SRV I got immediately attacked by the system security ships, so I exited again, and they just stopped attacking (again, I suppose FDev never has bothered programming a better logic for this.)

Out of curiosity I signed up for an Apex shuttle to take me away. Curiously, and funnily, since I was still inside the trespass zone, the system security ships started attacking the Apex shuttle ship! And they destroyed it, and I got refunded (thanks, I suppose.)

I then drove like mad with the SRV much further away, with the security ships in hot pursuit. I then exited again and ordered another Apex shuttle. This time, for one reason or another, they didn't attack it, and it landed successfully, so I boarded it. However, then they started attacking. The Apex pilot made a brave effort to escape to orbit, and we almost got to supercruise, but just a few seconds too late. The Apex shuttle was destroyed, with me inside it.

Curiously, the rebuy cost for my ship was free, and I had no bounties or fines. Small tip if you are ever in this kind of situation, I suppose.

Long before Odyssey I remember there was a Buckyball race that included a touch grab a picture and go at that facility as part of the route.

We re-ran that race a couple of months ago. It was... somewhat challenging.
I tried very hard to resist the temptation to go crashing into that moon in a Type 9
