Trex padock company

question what dinos can you put with the trex as its info says its fine with only 1 trex on its won but prefers ideal population of 15 so that makes it seem like it can have other dinos in there but dont know what ones same with other dinos well the large one's though trex is the only large carnivore i got at moment.

Probably large Sauropods. The T-Rex is going to fight any other large Theropods and probably eat anything small, so large Sauropods are probably the only dinos it won't mess with.

Haven't got that far. Just 5 started first island and moved to second but I'm curious about that also. Can I put both into the same encloser and not use meat feeders and let them feed off the herbivores lol

Short answer is nothing can go in the pen with the T-rex. Mine has eaten Brachs and Diplos repeatedly, in addition to nearly every other available species. AI definitely needs a bit of work.

I accidentally discovered yesterday that Dilophosaurs can be safely enclosed with a T-Rex, moved them in together to free up a pen for a mission and was expecting the dilos to get eaten, but everyone was happy in there together.

Actually it has been stated that T.rex and most big carnivores can be paired with your smaller carnivores - like a small pack of Velociraptor, Deinonychus or Dilophosaurus.

Also it is possible to pair a T.rex with another T.rex - but any other carnivores and eventually they will fight.

Mine ate a raptor immediately when i added it to the trex pen, and when i tried two rexs they refused to stay in their paddock until i sold one of them.

Then it may have something to do with space.

If you have a T.rex paddock which is barely large enough for a single T.rex - having two in the same pen - may cause them enough discomfort to cause them to escape. And the same might be true - for keeping raptors with a T.rex in too small of a pen.

To keep two T.rexes together - you really need a pen which is at least twice the size of a pen for a single T.rex. Or it could also be your grassland/forest figures causing them some discomfort.

I tried holding two T-rex in a massive pen with the perfect balance of grassland and forest. Both remained agitated, fought with each other constantly, but never to the death. Escapes were impossible to avoid. Definitely only hold one rex per pen.

T rex + around 5 velociraptors live in peace and harmony on most of my islands. As others have said the other small carnivores also work well.

I keep my indo rex with about 6 Raptors. I was able to get two trex on isla nublar to work but it's a large enclosure with 5 feeding spots. And trees down the middle breaking line of sight. Any other island how ever the trex refuses to have friends on.
