Tribbels in the Game

Hi,
are there something like Tribbels in the Elite Dangerous game just like in the Original Game was?
Where you could pick up some furry rodent and it starts to grow in your cockpit and blocks your view?
I remeber roasing them near the sun for high value furs.

Think they were called Trumbles in our case.

And no, they're not in the game. At least not yet. I think they're the Guardians.

Trumbles were only featured in the Commodore 64 version of the game, I played BBC Micro and was trumble free!

I would also have thought in today's highly litigious world trying to explain that Trumbles are not Tribbles would be a costly experience for FDev.

Roddenberry stole Tribbles including the associated plot line from Robert Heinlein's Space Family Stone, where they were called flat cats...

That's the trouble with Trumbles.

I remember getting a hold full of the cute furry blighters and not knowing how to get rid of them.
In the end I restored back to a previous save to be shot of them.

Don't think that was classed as an exploit ;)

Then call them Flat Cats.

We should modify a limpet to send them into the engine room onboard Thargoid ships, where they'll be no trumble at all...

You had to get close to a sun to kill them with heat, it took a few close flybys to cook them all off.

We need a bobblehead Trumble in the store or a bobblehead Maynard.... one or the other.

After fuel scooping your Trumble bobblehead will become a smoking mass on a spring.

tbh they weren't in the 'original' game as that was the BBC Model B version, but they did appear in the C64 version.
iirc the 'mission' was triggered the first time your credits exceeded 5000.

Also in the Amstrad CPC Version which was the first of the original Elite game platforms to have solid shaded planets
