Trick to have a different server selected at start?

I'm currently unable to log in (OSOD). My Internet is fine, so I'm assuming the server cluster node to which I connect has croaked (up but non-functional). I noticed that the same server gets chosen when I log in. Is there a way to force it to choose another server?

Not that I know of, sorry that's not much help, but i think the server cluster is automatically picked for you. I assume if one is down it should pick another unless the whole system or something at your end is borked.

Okies, it's a bummer, I was expecting to reach the galactic core tonight, but still unable to enter the game. I opened a ticket.

Maybe it's related to the issues others have had with losing their cargo/money.

You could try blocking unwanted servers in your router's firewall.

that might work. Have you checked your network log. There's normally a bit of handing off between servers that goes on when ED starts, maybe by blocking a specific server you could force it to the alternate?

Yeah, I got all of the IPs. The funny thing is that it seems to croak in the back end, it reports my current system and all, but just hangs there.
