Tried to avenge the countless traders getting killed

Saw a cmdr in a cobra in Leesti a minute ago, had a 500kbounty on him. So I interdict him, play the game for a little bit, then POOF, he disappears, leaving me in a weird interdiction animation. So he pops back up, seconds later, and I interdict him again. A few seconds into the game, he disappears again. A few seconds later, he pops back in. So I interdict him again. Same thing. FInally I interdict him, succeed, pop into normal space aaaand.... its just me in there. Not sure what was going on, but I tried to avenge the downtrodden, and failed.

I know the network can be screwy, but I've interdicted many many players, and this rarely happens, and usually when it does its someone who is wanted. It really feels like something weird he was doing on his end.

Could have just hit Alt-F4 and dumped out as he was going to be the victim and not the attacker. You might want to edit out the player name as that is against the TOS, fyi.

I didn't post his cmdr name. And he was back in the game each time within a few seconds, so how could he possibly be back in the game and in sc within3 seconds?

I'm not far from there. After a couple of hours bounty hunting I finish the day off in Orrere killing type-6s and cobras, the occasional ASP and vipers for a challenge I'm not hard to find.

I submit to interdiction mostly immediately and end up alone, happens regularly

I am starting to see a lot of comments about empty interdiction events or things dissapearing mid interdiction, I really am wondering if it is indeed a bug rather than the logoffski issue, as I mentioned in another post about this I often see the start of the interdiction minigame as I get past the coundown and into the frozen control part of jumping into frameshift, I wonder how that appears to another player wether it looks like a logoff.

Interdiction and instances are super bugged atm. Very often you'll try to interdict NPCs and players only to find an empty instance.
Not to mention having friends try to jump on your LEW... would be funny if it wasn't so sad considering how game breaking this is for anybody even remotely interested in piracy and bounty hunting outside of beacons and extraction sites.

Interdiction has been very buggy since the tweak to matchmaking to group players together. Tether is supposed to be activated when you interdict someone, so if you do not see a tether message you will have a failed interdiction every time. On the recieving end of this it means if you submit you drop out solo.
