Triggering Imperial Navy promotion missions?

I seem to be having a spot of bother finding/triggering an Imperial promotion mission.
Anyone have any good suggestions?

I've been in an Imperial based system for a couple of hours real time, still yet to see one.

I think they are completely gone, IMHO. I am ready for a promotion, too, and as of yet I have not seen any promotion missions whatsoever.

I accepted a rank up mission prior to the update. Completed it today and turned it in. No rank up occurred after the turn in. Re-starting the game had no effect. Also, I haven't been able to locate any new rank up missions. Rank system appears to have some new issues.

Was working ok yesterday but the patch seems to have prevented promotion missions popping up. The patch notes say "Superpower Rank-up Missions have been moved to the Follow On Missions section to make them easier to find" - is this why? and if so, where are they hiding?

They show up in one of the many hundred mission boards in the Bubble, where you left your former follow up missions alone. :D
Just start searching... This is the new grind idea of the devs... :eek:

Im allied with 8 different systems rank earl 100% allied 100% like others mentioning yesterday it was working fine now the missions dissappeared

Attention FDEV ... the local factions simply email me (the second-on-the-right option in the communications window) when they have a follow-on mission, so I know the system and station to head to. The Pilot's Federation notifies me there when I advance in rank. Since that seems like a well-known way for the Powers That Be to communicate with me, wouldn't that be a wonderful place to put the Naval progression mission invitation?

I had the same thing happen to me when I turned in an imperial mission in 3.02. When I logged in the next day, the rank was silently added to my ranking. I never got a promotion message, though.
So you may keep an eye on it, apparently sometimes there is some delay.

I'm allied with all factions but one; I have had ONE promotion mission, before the last patch, and have been at 100% Rep for days. I've board-flipped like a maniac and had no luck.
