There used to be a way to get Trinkets legally. Currently I'm up in Seagull and was thinking of taking a combat break to fight pirates and hatch break them. How we I remembered an old way to get these without the Stolen status. I think it was to hatch break them from a specific mega ship in the bubble but can't remember. I had some stored in my carrier but lost them when I moved to PC, from Xbox. I moved just a month before they offered account transfers, so only could transfer my credits and not my progress/ items.
