Got my triple elite now. I Started playing about just before the release of horizons and only now got elite in combat.
Ya I know some new players get triple elite in all categories in 1 week cause they grind themselves stupid but I didn't. Been on deadly rank for more than a year.

Last night I was flying with wing mates from The Darkhorse Crew and in a wing mission to kill 72 pirates I got my elite in combat.
(also a nice 100million credits in total from bounties and mission)
Which was exciting as at one point I jumped into a signal alone and saw 3 anacondas in a wing (1 deadly and 2 master) and blasted them all using my corvette then got jumped by 6 more pirates. Luckily my corvette is my special over-engineered ship so I could take the firepower of 9 ships simultaneously. friends showed up eventually and we killed all the pirates together. Kinda wish I recorded it too cause I left with 34% hull xwx

Now I have the special sticker for triple elite ;w;

Nice one cmdr!

That's a feat that I know I'm unlikely to achieve, as I don't do pewpew..............................unless when Odyssey drops, it gives a good advance rate to your rank for shooting rocks with my handgun:ROFLMAO:

Awesome work Cmdr! I am currently trying to hit the same goal, just pushed 10% past Deadly. It's definitely a grind but seeing your sweet triple Elite decal is motivating. Congrats!

Congratulations and welcome to the club.

I started a little later than you, around the time Engineers dropped, and finally got the most difficult, for me, Exploration Elite late last year combat had been the easiest one.

Congrats to OP! Question about SLF if anyone knows... does the SLF take half your points always or only if it lands the kill shot? And if you have an inactive crew member do they still get half your points for every kill? If so... that would explain my very slow progress, playing since the original release and still only Dangerous. Might need to fire my crew :(

If you have the crew member active on your ship then it always gets half of your XP, even if you don't use it.

Inactive crew sitting in the lounge don't take XP, just credits.

Well she can have my credits to sit in the lounge, it took me a long time to find a crew member with her.... attributes ;)
