Yup, made it. Bagged my final Elite rank;the most coveted rank: The Elite Combat Rank. The journey has been fun and very satisfactory
now that I have finished one of my primary goals since buying this game. I played Elite on the C64 and the Amiga 500, but
never made it to Elite. I was very determined that this time, it was definitely going to happen. And now that it has,
the feeling is awesome.
I would like to thank FD for making this amazing game, Shuruga for bringing me the last rank, this community for giving all
these great advices, without which the journey would have been much longer, the guy called "Federal Navy Ship" which seems
to pilot all the NPC's, my side, green like Hulk engaging the red ships like angry bees, and the red's willingness to let me
destroy their ships without even whining about it in this forum. Although we need to have a serious talk about you ganging
up on me, 3-5 ships at a time. One thing about the SJA minions, I haven't figured out yet how they do the daily roll call when
they all have the same name...
If someone asked me, what is the most important advice you can give, it's really simple; have fun playing. Engage actively
in the game and on the forums, Open Play can be fun. The Lembava CG was a blast, exploring systems, returning the systems,
the mad last minute dash trying to get us to tier 7, (earning the 15mill. credits wasn't bad either) and running my
SideWinder intervention stunt in Lembava against the bad guys, Ragnar, Stefan, and David, no bad feelings, right?
Just one comment about the ships. I feel that the ranking should be based on the ship type, and the only permissible
rank type for the F63 Condor should be "Ridiculous", nothing more, nothing less.
So whats next for me?
Well, the BuckyBalll run is my next goal, I'm gonna cheat like the other BuckyBallers, scratch that, prepare myself utterly by making a trial run to warm up the route planner and then do the run. Next thing will be finding Raxxla, which probably will take a while since it's in another galaxy...
Oh yeah, and of course there's the "Outer Rim" and "Silent Song Of The Spheres" missions which also seems to have something to do with Raxxla.

SJA, made it before you're unleashing your enhanced minions which will bring the inevitable carnage, bloodbath and whining in this forum. I just feel bad for Cmdr's which will have to meet them in numbers to progress
