Hi,
i got 3 monitors, all 1920*1200 resolution on a GTX 670SC.
ED works ok when i enable nVidia surround, but nVidia surround is just horrible when it comes to working on the machine and i hate the switching back and forth.
Luckily nVidia Surround offers the feature (automatically really) to inject the resolutions spanning multiple monitors into the games. So I opt for that, run my games that i want on triple screen (primarily EVE and iRacing) on that resolution.
No that doesnt work with ED, the resolution is only offered when surround is active. When i exit Elite, disable surround and start Elite again, it starts in the desired resolution, but just before the "Frontier" logo comes up, the client switches to 1920*1080 and thats it.
Now, I have to add that i do NOT have the Gamma, only the Combat Trainer for now. Might be something with that (hopefully) or am I missing a trick here?
Cheers!
