The mining is very productive compared with your average hotspot, that's both Laser and SD/SSD mining. There are another 4 Tritium out of 34 hotspots within that ring.
Most of the systems out this way contain singles or mixed doubles, nothing anywhere near this good.
With how much green is around Colonia, it's a wonder why so many carriers are stuck there.....
The only problem with mining around Colonia is the prices
Even out where I am Tritium is not a problem, I sold my reserves at Beagle Point and since then have increased my stock to over 6,500t. Then again I am not in a hurry to get anywhere, I just explore and mine as I go

There is good mining around the Colonia area, done a lot of it working from my carrier, on some produce you can earn good money from it especially if you know how, BUT when it comes to the high end core materials the prices are substantially lower than the bubble, the choices are then to either grin and bear it, sell to another carrier that's going to the bubble or save it up and then go to the bubble.
Some of the cargo sitting on my carrier now has been there since before I left Colonia, I had not sold it because the price offered was too low.
Overlapping hotspots of the same material. When spots do you get faster laser mining and/or better chances to find cores.
No cores, but everything else. 3x means it will be 50-60% for lasers, which means 1 rock lasered will do 10-15t.
