I decided not to do any missions this morning as I'm a bit rusty with my combat skills and new HOTAS to get used to as well as needing to rank up my rookie pilot. So with a a hold full of mission rewards I jumped to several low security systems and I was interdicted several times and it was not only good training but fun as well.
My favorite was getting interdicted by 2 Eagles. The first one popped in as I was launching the fighter and as he closed on me I opened up. It's amazing how fast an Eagle pops when caught by a brace of multi cannons. By the time his wingman arrived I had already shredded the first one and was pointing at him as he appeared. My fighter never fired a shot.
The FGS is such a beast!
