Tropical animals in the north

My question is fairly simple. I am interested in making a zoo somewhere cold, let's say Russia. Except the expected species form colder regions which animals from southern hemisphere would fare well in colder open air zoo ?

I would recommend Dholes, I think Lions are also very cold resistant, Asian Elephants are more cold tolerant than African Elephants but they would still need a Shelter. Bactrian Camels would also thrive good in this Climate (if they would've programmed them more realistic)

Good. I haven't yet played around with camels in cold yet, what's problem with their programming ?

Even though Bactrian Camels do live in cold Areas the Minimum Temperature in the Game is way too high (I assume maybe they wanted to include the Dromedary at first and then changed their Mind. Something similar is probably also the Reason for the bad Cold Tolerance of the Indian Peafowl). The Camels do already have Problems during cold Temperatures in the temperate Biome even though they obviously shouldn't. Their natural Range even includes Siberia

In reality they'd be one of the most cold tolerant species in the game but they get annoyed when it snows in game.

Aw man that sucks. I hope we'll get that patched in future. Did someone bring that to attention on the forum ? This is first time I'm hearing of this.
My whole life I always associated Bactrian camels more with snow and cold than with hot deserts

It's on my annual small, easy changes megathread. Just like it will be for the 1.6 update if they haven't changed it for this one. I always wait a few days after the full catch notes are out before posting the new iteration.

I do also really hope that Temperature Requirements will be fixed someday. Social Requirements are also wrong for some Animals (best Example is the Ring Tailed Lemur. Really? Only one male? Groups in Real Life do always have multiple males). There are already one or two Threads on the Forum about it

I opened a thread some time ago:

Bactrian camels and Indian elephants are northern hemisphere though - wasn’t the question about Southern Hemisphere species?

without checking the in-game requirements for temperature, I’d guess:

llama
Penguin

can’t think of any others.
